Joe Gorga responds to Joseph Wakile’s “farm animals” search

Joe Gorga is all about his family – although there are some relationships that he doesn’t really like.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” husband hit the road Wednesday when asked about a young cousin who took to Instagram in February and called him and his wife, Melissa, “pets. the farm”.

“That I’m really shocked because I’ve always loved him,” Gorga said on Wednesday night’s “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” show, in reference to the cutting comment from his cousin, Joseph Wakile.

Gorga told Cohen that growing up, he and his sister, Teresa Giudice, had a good relationship with their first cousins, Rosie Pierri and Kathy Wakile.

But now he no longer has love for Kathy’s husband Richie – and the bad blood as apparently now extended to their children Victoria, 27, and Joseph, 25.

“Rosie, I miss that,” he added. “I miss Rosie. She was my cousin from youth. She has always been there for me. So I miss her. Richie Wakile, not so much. And that’s the reason his children speak the way they are because of him. Because he’s just not a nice guy.

Kathy, 55, spent three seasons as a senior cast member on “RHONJ” and during that time she had a lot of argument with Giudice. After leaving the show, it emerged that the Gorgas and Wakiles were simply ignoring each other, like Melissa confirmed that they no longer spoke in November 2019.

But, fans got a glimpse of their family feud when Victoria got married over Valentine’s Day weekend and the Gorgas were not in attendance.

“Lmao, we took these farm animals out of our lives years ago, that’s why they weren’t there,” Joseph commented on Page Six’s Instagram explaining why they weren’t invited to the event. ‘case.

Melissa responded to the search on “WWHL” in March.

“Look, I know they’re a little embittered that they’re not on the show anymore, and that’s unfortunate, to be honest. I wish them all the best; I love the Wakile children, ”she said.

For her part, Kathy hit back in an interview the same month that while she expected to disagree with Giudice and Melissa on the show, she never expected to stop talking to them altogether.

“I was like, ‘Sure, well, maybe we have a few words but we can figure it out,'” she said. “We had never really had a real disagreement before. “

“I never kept thinking that I was going to be like, on one side, you know?” It wasn’t meant to be one side because we were one family… I wish them luck, but I moved on. You try to do your best in a relationship and it happens in real life. It happens without reality TV participating in it. “
